About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire/Security Alarm Technician with a minimum of 5 years experience. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair Fire/Security Alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.
Job Duties
- Complete testing and inspecting of fire alarm systems in commercial buildings per NFPA and local fire codes.
- Responding to service requests, must be able to accurately diagnose fire/security alarm system malfunctions and adjust, repair or replace equipment as needed to bring into compliance.
- Experience in the installation of Firelite, Notifier, Honeywell Vista, Bosch (Radionics) systems
- Experience in the installation of CCTV and Access Control Systems, both IP and Analog
- Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in fire/security alarm installation and repair.
- Prefer Functional knowledge to test, program and service the following fire alarms brands: Notifier and Firelite
- Prefer Functional knowledge to test, program and service the following Alarm and Access brands: Paxton, S2, Axis, Milestone, ONSSI, Honeywell, Pelco, Blackboard.
- Valid Driver’s License with 3 or less points
- NICET Level II or higher is preferred but not required
- Ability to be available on-call when scheduled
- Must be knowledgeable of all tools and techniques required in the fire/security alarm trade.
- Has excellent attendance and can handle responsibility.
- Must be willing to travel at times.
- High School Diploma required.
