Service Plans

KNC provides a (1) year warranty on all installed systems. In addition, KNC provides comprehensive service plans that offer the peace of mind that a customer’s system will be serviced promptly to minimize downtime. Service repair plans can be customized to offer the ideal coverage for equipment costs, labor costs and service response times at a predetermined investment level. KNC service repair plans include:

  • Standard Service Plan (Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm, parts and labor included)
  • Premium Service Plan (24/7, parts and labor included)
  • Parts Only Service Plan (Parts only, applicable labor rates apply, standard hours)
  • Labor Only Service Plan (Monday – Friday labor only, 8am – 4pm)
  • Priority Response Service Plan (4 hour response time, 24×7, parts and labor included)

Preventative Maintenance

KNC provides scheduled preventative maintenance on electronic security systems on an annual or semi-annual basis. The service can be provided for all types of protection systems including intrusion alarms, camera/video systems and access control systems (For Fire Alarms, see Fire Alarm test and Inspection section). The scheduled appointment includes a visual inspection of devices, walk-test of the system components, cleaning of devices as needed, verification of communication link and system re-education. For PC based access control systems, preventative maintenance may include programming back-up and software patch updates (as available).
